Maybe Galchenyuk should watch a video or two of Ovechkin. Maybe that'll teach him how to shoot accurately with a fast release.

Normally, a team will be loose in the regular season and don't play as tight. They'll score plenty of goals, from a bunch of different players.

Then, come the playoffs, the team will play tighter while keeping their scoring confidence.

For the Habs, it's the opposite. They play a boring and defensive-first hockey in the regular season, and expect to score goals in the playoffs by outshooting the opponent. Yeah, no wonders it doesn't ****ing work.

The worst thing about all of this is I just don't see the same comraderie they all had in the reg. season.

After the tough POs Markov's had you would have thought Price would give him a tap after blocking that shot and the end of the 2nd Period. Instead Price just skates away while Markov is still down on the ice in pain...

I love Price and am not trying to badmouth him in any way. I just think that overall, with everyone on the team, they don't have the same closeness they have had this year.
You can actually see Price talking to Markov he did not have to tap him.

I don't expect any adjustments to be made, and quite honestly I don't think it even matters at this point. This team is so frazzled mentally that the only thing that can bust them out of it, is for something lucky to happen. That's not going to happen by changing the lines, they just plain need something good to happen, catch a god damn break.

Adjustments?

What are those. Ive been watching a therrien coached team all year

Can't even blame that period on "the system" the team played well, they were taking chances. We just couldn't get one.

So couldn't get one...who's responsible? Why can't the offensive system not be responsible? Why can't the lines that are formed not a reason why? Why can't the unsuccesful PP not be a reason why? And then if it's about the players....I guess we will have to make some serious changes to the top 6 right?

But why are we going to hear about how everything is fine and that we are just in transition?

When you make the ECF and go to game 6, lose by a goal, with your third stringer.. You should be improving..

OK, I thought I was hallucinating when I saw Subba apply pressure deep in TB's zone and getting back into position without breaking a sweat. I can't even remember if he did that just once this year.

That's bad coaching and bad system right there. When you have a Subban, you let him do his thing a little more. Now it's just too little too late. ******* Therrien.

Yup. Looks like Petry is quite good at that too. Don't mind Emelin jumping off the rush from time to time. But we don't let defensemen that thrive offensively do their thing.

That's kind of like the fact that we have almost exclusively PMD defensemen yet we couldn't get out of our zone with a smooth transition all year.

Maybe we can hire Oates as an advisor to fix our PP? Seemed to pick it apart pretty easily on CBC.

Not part of system. No talent allowed yo thrive. Subban almost got ran out of town for not listening.
