It is not normal we are soooooo f***ing bad 6v5. Teams could pull their goaltenders in the first period and blow us out.
Exacty! they play 6v5 like 5v4. They should have a box then a lead guy taking the defensemen. Instead they all collapse into the crease and Dallas was able to manoever at will.

Well, that was an anxiety inducing last 5 minutes. Montembeault was stellar in the 3rd & while Montreal was playing shorthanded for the last 6 damn minutes.

Armia actually made a hell of a defensive play at the side of the net with time winding down. Guy had an open cage & Army pushed him behind the net. Harris also made a huge defensive play on Pavelski.

Team blocked shots & worked hard. They earned this win.

Good games by Slafkovsky & Harris, in particular.

Montreal finishes their annual Christmas/New Year road trip, 3-3-1, .500, which is one of our better results.

Another fun game.

That was embarrassing 6 1/2 minutes. MSL is a clueless buffoon putting out Matheson and Savard our there to protect the lead. Naturally resulting in a 3rd stars goal. Absolutely brutal mind blowing passive play in the own zone. How the F do they thing it's ok and keep preaching that?
I would put Savard out there before anyone else. Matheson is harder to justify.

Young team still learning to close out games. Down to 10 forwards at the end there didn't help.

Also Struble has played 19 games now and I don't think he's made one costly mistake yet. This mfer got his one shot and never let it slip. Crazy.

Good rebound game for Monty.
The last 6 minutes were atrocious. We probably won one faceoff in the last 10 (looked like it anyway).

Up until those last 6 minutes Habs probably played one of their best road game.

Now you have to wonder what would be the result if Dallas played the full game with the goalie pulled :) 14-0 ?

Really good game by Slaf and Harris.

Too bad we may have lost Andy for a long time. He was playing much better.
