DJ Smith is blackmailing the owner, how he isn't fired is beyond me. Tkachuk/Stutzle/Norris/Batherson/Tarasenko/Giroux and Sanderson/Chychrun/Chabot is WAY too much talent to be this bad.
I must’ve missed it where’s the defensive awareness coming from - all Sanderson?

I think you may benefit greatly from reading comprehension or literacy all together. I said I'll tolerate any youngster that isn't a plug getting points, which means I'll tolerate Suzuki, Newhook etc... getting points. I said I'd cheer for two players to get points.... not that only two players should get points.
Lol now you're backtracking
Don't care about Newhook and basically every other F.
I'll cheer for 2 players to get points.

We both know you would still be livid if this went to OT and Caufield scored the winner because we picked up 2 points.

I don’t think people understand that he’s set his lineup to help development. Two vets per kid. I do agree Ylo should be moved up and I’d put him with Monahan.

I get that MSL is trying to help Anderson through his slump but enough’s enough.

Yeah... There's a few pieces about his approach I don't care for, including the Anderson/Ylonen head-scratcher. But on the whole, hard to critique much. Not easy to do what he's done. The internal alignment is clearly quite strong, will be fun to watch things evolve as the net talent available in the lineup increases year over year.

Anderson, I hope, is on his last leash this year. If he can't figure it out with this much spoon fed opportunity, it'll be time to cut out losses and either move on or have had m replace Armia as the grossly overpaid 13th fwd

I'm not though. Look at my word selection. It's consistent throughout.

Yes I don't care about most of the Fs and will only actively cheer for two. I'm still fine with youngsters producing (provided they're not plugs).

MSL is going to give his vet every chance. Right or wrong that’s what he’ll do, esp in a year where we aren’t making the playoffs.

That being said, I think it’s time to give Ylo more opportunity and I think Monahan would be a great guy to do that with.

We need Anderson to go on a mini run of say 8 points in 10 games. Impossible sounding I know. But if he can do that for us, it might entice someone to come fishing for him. Then we can dump his ass.

Why are we winning? We should be tanking so we can get to the draft and pick some guy no one's ever heard of who happened to have the best year of his life this year but will actually take 5-7 years to have an impact on the roster.

Having young players take steps isn't good. Keep losing and picking high every year so the team will finally be good. Like the Sabres and the Coyotes.

Yup. Can't wait to see Armia when he is in his prime.

Dude can absolutely rip it. What a release. Too bad Dach went down. He needs to be set up.
He does need a playmaking center, but he's shown he can find the open, quiet spots on the ice. With his shot, I think 30 goals is attainable in peak years

But lines don’t matter. That’s what you said right?

It lines don’t matter then neither does TOI obviously…
LOL you can't be serious. Gallagher was actually better suited to lesser competition on the third line. His best linemate was Pearson accordig to Frozen tools.

Gallagher (7 points in November btw) has generated tons of chances for his linemates and they weren’t converted. Moving him up makes perfect sense. He’s playing well. Chances don’t always yield the points they should (see CC this season)

You made a comment on it, got called out and now you’re here digging in your heels.

There’s not another player who can play in that spot right now and do a better job. We don’t have the depth.

As for Ylo, I agree… he should get more opportunity. I’d put him with Monahan. He’ll get his chance to move up.

But to suggest that it’s some kind of crime to put Gallagher there is a really, really bad take.
