Good job by Slaf to knock the puck off the boards to exit the defensive zone. He's going up against two D. Last year, he'd probably try to dangle through them and lose the puck. This time, he uses both as screens to get a shot on net. And he doesn't glide away, he skates straight to the net for any possible rebound, knocking the Sens D off balance in the meantime. And he forces Soogard to freeze the puck and the face-off in Sens zone.
