Not really. He's a late 2nd round pick who gets easily pushed around at the NHL level and has played like 40-50 AHL games since 2019/20. I'd say people saying he needs more time in the AHL is fair because most players drafted where he is usually spends more time down there to develop anyways.

He has barely shown any of this skill at the NHL level. Shows in preseason when the rosters are somewhat competitive he doesn't have it. Trade him for low pick. Better to sell low then sell at 0.
