patronizing, obnoxious, condescending coaches who play the rah rah rah crap without the technical skill knowledge to back it up, wear out their welcome quickly & get talked about by players.
I don't think it necessarily came from a guy he coached, could just as easily have come from a player who had heard enough about him to know he doesn't want to play for that type of coach (of which I imagine there are many of in the junior ranks).
don't imagine it will be much different this coming summer, and i wonder how much that played into our 2013 UFA summer…
When you have $$ to spend, and you walk away with present-day Briere & Murray as your key free agent signings, it's quite likely you got rebuffed by other players….
