Yeah, based on what we've seen preseason, I don't disagree, but i do worry about Raty once we get into the regular season and the pace picks up noticeably. If he has to empty the tank to keep up, he could burn out quickly. I'll be curious to see his edge data if he sticks. Maybe the cost to move Poolman will come down enough in the 11th hour to get him moved and we can be cap compliant with a very healthy cushion.Having Aman over Raty is criminal if the team values performance. Don't care if Raty is waivers exempt.

He's 21, his recovery rate should still be pretty good.Yeah, based on what we've seen preseason, I don't disagree, but i do worry about Raty once we get into the regular season and the pace picks up noticeably. 11amWhat time do we find out if PDG has been claimed or not?
Friedman usually tweets at 11 pdtWhat time do we find out if PDG has been claimed or not?
Problem. How many more cuts need to be made to get under the cap?
I'd be shocked if he was claimedWhat time do we find out if PDG has been claimed or not?
I’m curious if they didn’t want to expose both PDG & Aman at the same time in case they ended up losing both of them. As much as they really are filler forwards, filler forwards with NHL experience who understand your system have some short term value.

Believe that Sat said that the Hirose injury means they'll have to be in LTIR to start the seasonSome of this stuff comes down to LTIR or not-LTIR. If they need to use LTIR there'll probably be a little more jockeying of the roster early next week with guys on ELC's that have the biggest salaries + performance bonuses getting called up to create the opening day roster and then sent back down the next day, which is pretty standard stuff.
I don't see the current situation being manageable, not with Poolman, Joshua and Demko all needing to be put on IR to start the season. Seems as though the only viable options are to trade Poolman's contract or use LTIR.
Beat me to it! The rest cleared.
