I haven't seen the final CORSI numbers from tonight's game......but from the 'eye test' Myers and Soucy were absolutely caved in, in their own zone.
I noticed that Tocchet broke them up briefly and they had Hughes out with Myers. But we all know how that pairing has fared in the past.
You worry that at 34, Myers' play be falling off a cliff. Every player on the wrong side of 30 is different. Some, like a Chris Tanev, can go on like old man river. While others see their games just implode.
One thing is for sure. They need a lot more out of Myers and hopefully he has more to give.
