i'm not saying it would be a good trade but a mid/late first, raty and kudryavtsev isn't going to get it done. columbus are going to want a comparable prospect in return
his value as a prospect has declined and there are massive red flags with this player. Can't crack CBJ's (desperate for RHD) roster in his D+3 season and now the rumours of him being available are starting to swirl. He should be in the AHL and the fact he isn't is another red flag.

I would absolutely not put Willander on the table for Jiricek.

Well I think for his role and pay his impact has been perfectly fine. If he was more consistent or pleasing to watch, the Canucks don't get him on the same contract. Most 3rd liners have some shortcomings and "oof" moments.
Could just be my first impression of him in blue and green was a suicide pass to Boeser. It’s not his production I don’t like, I know we didn’t sign him for that reason.

People need to stop freaking out lol

Bold this and underline it. We're 2nd in the division with essentially 2 star players missing from the entire season (40, 35) and an integral piece (81).

I see some holes on this roster, but honestly, both Edmonton and Florida had holes as well. The perfect team just doesn't exist at the moment. The injuries to the Americans I find to be the most concerning right now.

To add to your last post, I read something somewhere that said there is no ethical consumption in capitalist society. I'm more or less inclined to agree.

Exactly.

If we think we suck, imagine how the other 22 teams below us must feel.

Nobody thought we were a top-5 contender type team, and some regression was expected by most as well. So we kind of are where we should be.

The good thing is that there are paths to improvement both internally and externally.

And this is coming from someone who thinks we've been poorer than the average fan on a game-by-game basis.

I did something exceptionally silly and looked at when the Canucks announce trades. Patrik Allvin has made 24 trades as GM of the Canucks. 15 of them were not at the deadline. Of these trades Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are the most common 3 trades each. Friday has 2 and Mondau has 1. No trades on a Saturday. 9 trades after 3pm and 6 before. 7 of the last 8 trades were announced after 3pm.

The next trade is mostly likely to come on Sunday after 3pm.
