you'll get maata and you'll like it.Kesselring is the guy I would want from Utah.

Also I think there's zero chance Miller waives his NMC for Utah,
Because Miller is turning 32 soon and probably wants to win a cup. And Utah is not "good", they are 25th in the league standings.I don't see why not?
American city (underrated city by most accounts) and good young team.
The Rangers are 24th and shitting the bed and he’s open to going to them…I dont think Utah is THAT big of a stretch. It’s a nice safe city (as American cities go).Because Miller is turning 32 soon and probably wants to win a cup. And Utah is not "good", they are 25th in the league standings.
He has a full NMC, he can choose to be extremely picky about where he ends up.
Cant see Lamoureux being available. If Utah is serious, about taking a run at JTM,
Hayton + Lamoureux would get my attention.
Yeah, doesnt sound like they’d be that interested.Cant see Lamoureux being available.
Probably available guys would include Schmaltz, Crouse, and Hayton. On D, Valimaki and Kolyachonok.
Yeah but New York is New York, and he has a connection to that franchise. I imagine it's the only non-playoff team he'd accept a trade to. I'd love to be wrong though. The Rangers are 24th and shitting the bed and he’s open to going to them…I dont think Utah is THAT big of a stretch. It’s a nice safe city (as American cities go).

Schmaltz would be your leading scorer atm. He is a good player. Plus some other assets under team control for a player the Canucks really need to get rid of? Unless you see the Canucks starting a mini rebuild?Yeah, doesnt sound like they’d be that interested.
Yeah, i don’t think Schmaltz is going to light up anyone with excitement in a Miller trade…he’s an ok player, but I’d hope for a better centerpiece than that.Schmaltz would be your leading scorer atm. Disagree…you might not get the “value” of a high end roster player, or top of the food chain prospect but if they’ve done their homework they might be able to get good aggregate value out of a decent roster player, a good prospect and a good pick that could turn into something if they flipped it, as well as some freed up cap space. The Jersey Devils make the most sense to me. They're close to being a serious contender, if they're not there already. And they've probably got some assets that would interest the Canucks for Miller.
Of course, the hard reality, is that you're never going to be able to trade a guy like Miller and get anywhere close to the equivalent value back. That's just the way it is.
Everyone has that dipshit in their fantasy league that spams all the teams with lopsided trades in case someone accidently says yes. This is so strange.
Would an NHL GM actually get upset over this? I mean if he calls everyday asking for McDavid or Crosby or MacKinnon then yeah it's like go away dude but I can't imagine he's doing that lol
Do people really believe he cant play good because of Miller?I mean if their plan is to move Miller to make Pettersson happy then we should make that move sooner than later so if Pettersson is a ghost for the rest of the season you can move him before his NMC kicks in.
I feel like NJ still value Meier a ton, even if he hasn't lived up to expectations. If Devils serious about Miller and Nemec wants out something here?
Miller and Boeser cap 14.65 for Nemec, Mercer and Meier 13.8.
Devils improve top 6 we get another RHD prospect and a big body for EP on wing. Mercer would take the 2C role.
this seems plausible. one thing is miller could be scratched" for purposes of being traded?....For what it’s worth, they have a two day break after tomorrow. Allvin’s most common trade date is Sunday. Would give them time to make trade and get a new player in to practice.
brock boeser.so today we have aqualini's man, mason, saying that he thinks pettersson stays. plus fresh meat on miller being traded involving nj.
and we have simultaneous stories that demko is sad (from an unlikely but reliable source) and from an agent mouthpiece that boeser talks are going nowhere if they are going at all.
it's not good news. i would bet at least one of these stories is intended to be a message that if miller goes the player in question goes.
management has a problem that their decision goes beyond miller and pettersson. we thought this shit had gone away. it is back.
They probably do but I'll be honest don't feel good about extending Boeser long term. He's got chemistry with Miller hence sending him along and Meier would give EP lots of room upfront. They are also playing him on his off wing for some reason so why not have a natural RW instead there in Boeser. We need to change the room more then just Miller I think bringing in another respected vet like Meier couldn't hurt.I feel like NJ still value Meier a ton, even if he hasn't lived up to expectations.
- Very quiet out of Vancouver; which is in some ways telling
- After seeing Miller’s media availability yesterday, has the look of a guy who’s had enough; doesn’t mean the media since he believes that Miller has respect and appreciation of the questions being asked
- Can go one of two ways; Canucks approach him or he approaches them and tells them he won’t waive until the offseason and then he can pick where he goes
- Feels like there’s more action around Miller; teams around the league view him as a tangible upgrade
- Canucks need to compete so not looking for picks and prospects
- Thinks a trade is taking so long to develop because they haven’t found a third party to flip futures to
- Knows that Aquilini “will be got”; Aquilini has a lot of respect for Rutherford but they will have had words
- Says Blake Wheeler was very similar to Miller in his approach; in your face and that rubbed some guys the wrong way; some media at the game against the Jets said that the Canucks have a very similar feel to when the Jets were going through some tough times with Wheeler
- Not just about Pettersson & Miller; when you have situations like this it encourages cliques; teams can never find their happy place
- Not an indictment of the coaching staff
- Doesn’t think Boeser is coming back
- Thinks you could sell a renovation to the fans; knows the fans are tired of all the rumours and headlines
- Rutherford can be a very convincing guy and get ownership on board with whatever their plan is
- Something has to give; based on what happened in the last game it feels like that was the final straw
