There are two big issues here with a Miller trade. He has a 'no-trade' contract and the list of teams he'd be willing to go to is small from the get-go. And obviously that list doesn't include any potential lottery teams.
The market is further restricted by the fact that contending teams don't want to gut their lineups to acquire Miller. And trade partners are further constrained because most of those teams are up against the salary cap.
So not only does Allvin have to get back something approaching 'equivalent value', he also has to somehow make the numbers work.
A blockbuster involving Miller is still possible, I guess. But the odds are stacked against it.
