This ain’t banning dumb dumb eraI'll double-down on what I've predicted before—they are going to end up trading both Miller and Pettersson within a year of each other.

Bad way to motivate EP40. He crumbles under pressure.I don't think there's anyway they sell beyond Quinn Hughes saying he wants out. If you mean just Pettersson, I wouldn't be surprised if this is some sort of tactic to put more pressure on Pettersson to be better.
As someone who listens around the league. This again seems like one of those Vancouver is about to make a big deal out of nothing. At 25 Miller wasn't mature at all. He was whining that he had to play 3rd line in TB. Years of Crosby whining to refs during his mid 20s. McDavid complaining. I know for sure that Schiefele and Trouba weren't mature enough for others in the room in Wpg. Mackinnon yelling at his coach to "do his job" when he was 24 and Zadorov saying he would yell at teammates in practice.
From things I've heard, Petey likes to be just left alone to play hockey as instructed. He's never going to want face the media nightly like the Sedin's.
It wasn’t Benning who did it before…This ain’t banning dumb dumb era
A classic Vancouver bit. Have one disgruntled star and somehow lose two.
A player, even one with the skills Petey has. Does not get to reinvent the wheel and dictate that. We all hopefully grow upTo me it seems like EP is telling them and everyone else what type of player/person he is, and management/coaching is doing their utmost to not respect that. IMO, it's really strange treatment of a franchise player.
Maybe, but there is some obvious discord between the type of player Petey sees himself as, and the type of player he's been lately. To me it seems like EP is telling them and everyone else what type of player/person he is, and management/coaching is doing their utmost to not respect that. IMO, it's really strange treatment of a franchise player.
When you are a franchise player, the media is going to want to talk to you. Hronek wasn't much different, he never spoke to the media in Detroit. He came to Van and they brought it up immediately. Then he gets in front and he has a bit of an issue. Then you don't really hear from him again. Petey isn't wearing a letter for a reason. To me it seems like EP is telling them and everyone else what type of player/person he is, and management/coaching is doing their utmost to not respect that. The interview was with Iain MacIntyre so of course he is going to turn a blind eye to the biggest question mark for management of the seasonAllvin basically just signed Pettersson to a massive deal like yesterday… after Pettersson’s play had already fallen off a cliff. You knew all this about the player when you signed him.
Only read the above summary on my phone, was there really no comment on the butchering of the blue line?
BuckFoston is as bad as Taj.Open up twitter and I've got buckfoston talking about how Petey shouldn't feel comfortable about his place in the line up. Brough with the quote about "A trade, anything is possible"
Agreed 100%. Management failed this offseason when it comes to the defensive unit. They took an average at best defensive unit that had two pairings of #5 defenders in Soucy/Myers and Zadorov/Cole handling the 2nd pairing minutes by committee and replaced one of those pairings with #6/7 guys at best and expected what exactly?I have fairly high confidence in this groups ability to scout forwards but I have majorly growing concerns about their defensive pro scouting and ability to ever fix the d. PA not mentioning the d at all when they are 95% of the problem with the team right now tells you a lot about how to interpret his comments.
Lol, I added more as a scrolled a bit further. This is a very divided fan base. I can't imagine a market as hard on players as Van is on theirs. Maybe Petey would prefer a market where he can just play hockey.BuckFoston is as bad as Taj.

When asked about the collapse in the Seattle game he sounded confused how it was possible that they couldn’t lock the game down and “meet pressure with pressure” but didn’t mention that two of the biggest miscues in the game were caused by Juulsen’s unforced turnover up the middle and Myers having no idea how to play 3-on-3 hockey, two players playing in positions in the lineup they have no business being in.Only read the above summary on my phone, was there really no comment on the butchering of the blue line?
I wouldn't be that opposed, the returns would be top-notch.I'll double-down on what I've predicted before—they are going to end up trading both Miller and Pettersson within a year of each other.
Yet somehow both are still regularly posted, I wish tweets from nobodies were deleted asap, just causes pages of nonsense.BuckFoston is as bad as Taj.
Calling out others for speculation and then writing speculative nonsense in the same post is comical. So basically some of us have nailed this
I think, again, it comes back to expectations and preparation, how you prepare yourself. I don't believe that he was aware of just how hard it was going to be. Just because you achieve one thing to get a long-term extension (the $92.8-million contract Pettersson signed in March). . . life just gets harder. You haven't really accomplished anything. You're not even halfway there (to winning a Stanley Cup). And then obviously the mental part comes in there, too, and suddenly you feel the pressure.
Someone needs to tell the GM that it's all injury related LOL
This says it all and you can bet your ass that the discord between him Miller and others don't kid yourself has been his immaturity and lack of leadership that Allvin just layed out. Would not surprise me one bit if Miller after getting benched and having a spat with Pettersson in practice lashed out at him inappropriately in the room in front of the team and that's when they told him to take a break and get his head right.
I thought that was you in your picAny trade with JT Miller/NY id want Perrault or Cuylle coming back tbh. Nobody else on the Rangers interests me, not even the guy who has been my profile picture for the last 2 years.
Glad i can entertainCalling out others for speculation and then writing speculative nonsense in the same post is comical.
