Wait, what???
Not ideal.. obvious downgrade on miller but can play 2c, good in playoffs, chemistry with players on team already. Would depend what the plus on Boston side is and if it makes us better or can be packaged for something additional
Maybe then petey will stop pouting and play better

they're doing press on this because scandalous rumour mongering got out of control. CMac's PR team is trying to put out a fire they let happen because their idea of doing PR is saying as little as possible.

that's what's happening.

the only "strong personality" the club should be getting rid of here is CMac.

It was far far far worse with Messier and Linden. It was incredibly toxic the first season after the lockout.
Any comparable to that POS means this team is in trouble. Maybe it’s not as bad but the fact this is such a huge story that even the players are acknowledging it is very telling.

I find Miller really hard to watch. Maybe it’s just me but every time a play doesn’t go his way he just goes off the ice. He just seems checked out. He also left the team for a month and it doesn’t look like much has changed.

I’m not saying EP is guilty of something but I really think Miller needs to go. He’s the kind of the player you win with but his attitude seems to be out of control.

He has what 7 years left on his deal? He’s totally tradable. You aren’t winning anything with bad chemistry.

We've had our share of strong locker room personalities and stuff before, but I can't recall it being this bad ever.
I think these sort of things have always been going on. It's natural for any group of people working towards the same goal. Bieksa just said on HNIC that when he joined Canucks there was also an ongoing rift between two players. It's just that in today's world of social media everything is magnified and multiplied in the name of clicks and views.

Having said that, it's our two star players and it's been going on for way too long. You gotta think by now it should've been squashed. At this point, you can't help but start thinking if it's reconcilable.

Petterson for Brady Tkachuk 1 for 1.

Ottawa gets the bigger points producer and the Canucks get a guy who better suited to playoff hockey, bigger harder to play against and 3 mil a season cheaper, a year younger and can still be a point per game player.
