I do find it quite interesting that the Canucks called up PDG and Karlsson so they would have 14 forwards and 7 defencemen for the road trip. They've typically worked with 13 forwards and 8 defencemen. Could be absolutely nothing other than there are more forwards sick with the flu than defencemen or they just wanted to get those two up with the big club for a couple of days. Could also be protecting themselves in-case something does happen tomorrow.

Don't even have lines for tonight yet either. Have to wait for pre game I guess to see line rushes.

Another Canucks trade target off the board. Or they need another left sided guy because Pettersson is coming to Van.

Given how much the team raves about Garland and continually places him in positions of importance and he delivers, I'd be absolutely shocked if they trade him. He's one of the few consistent play-drivers on the team.

Agree from the 3rd line having Garland and Joshua clicking is an advantage almost no team can match. its huge

Both good targets, but it will probably take Pettersson or Miller to get both, which is a tough pill to swallow. Buffalo will not be interested in a full futures package.

I'd trade Miller to get both. I'll keep repeating this but I am very wary of 'Miller needing a reset' turning into 'Miller needs a change of scenery,' pretty quickly. Doubt Miller would waive to Buffalo though unless his family is really f***ing tired of Canada.

I don't know if this was posted here, but yesterday a Sabres reporter said someone or multiple players would be traded today

Just FYI, he has never had any inside sources. That was more a statement of what a normal organization would've done today, as opposed to any sort of report.
