I doubt our first + hoglander is getting us either piece, it sure isn't getting us both.McLeod + Byram.
Move Suter to the wing and McLeod center the 3rd line.

I think that’s to much from the Sharks. I’d obv v happy with that return but I think considering his slump my package is palatable for the SharksGoing to need to be Smith and Dickinson for me.
Never said Hoglander + 1st would get it done.I doubt our first + hoglander is getting us either piece, it sure isn't getting us both.
i would addSo in summary (someone correct me if I'm wrong) -
- Friedman pulls a wild Vancouver/Buffalo proposal seemingly out of thin air
- Dhaliwal says the Canucks and Sabres have talked
- Dreger says that well placed sources say there isn't anything going on between Vancouver and Buffalo
- Pagnotta says the Sabres and Canucks have talked about Bowen Byram
- Buffalo has a scout in Vancouver last night
- Canucks have a scout watching Buffalo tonight
Is that all about right?
oh sorry, I just saw the post you were responding to mentioned Hoglander and our first and assumed.Never said Hoglander + 1st would get it done.
Going to have to be of some significance.
Buffalo does not need Ws.
But they do need dmen; especially if Byram is traded.
Good because they don’t have any in December.Never said Hoglander + 1st would get it done.

well crafted!Good because they don’t have any in December.
Alright it's probably not Greenway, he's not even playing in the Buffalo game they sent a scout to watchImagine if all this ends up being Hoglander for Jordan Greenway (50%)
I believe the Canucks were interested in him in the past, and they're rumored to want another winger. Could also be Zucker but he carries a higher cap hit
LMAO Trotz, what a f***ing clown. Who is gonna give up a 24 year old offensive C? Benning level management. He's about to give up the Lightning or Vegas 1st for like, Morgan Frost. Idiot.
Canucks scout at the Buffalo/Montreal game
Could've just said you don't watch Sabres games..I want nothing to do with Byram... there's too much danger it would just be Poolman all over again.

Buffalo can't take on futures. They need help now. So, I don't see what Van has that can help Buffalo as they need to turn things around.Getting Bowen Byram would be sweet. I doubt Petey is traded. I don't even know what Buffalo needs at this point - the team just isn't able to put it together despite seemingly having good players throughout the lineup.
Id imagine it starts with something like a 1st + Hoglander + Raty but that could easily be outbid.
Just do the Kakko and Hoglander swap already. Drury is in the hotseat, nows the time to take advantage.
Buffalo definitely shouldn't be looking for futures either. They have an awesome prospect pool already.Byram and Poolman is a bizarre comparison - unless he just means the potential concussion issue?
I love Byram and would love to have him on Vancouver. But I feel the cost to acquire him would be very steep.

Trading away two 1C caliber centers (Pettersson and Miller) is the the natural iteration for a club that traded away two starting goaltenders (Luongo and Schneider).
Potential injuries aren't really different for any players, the risk is there every game, and Byram is still an RFA.Byram and Poolman is a bizarre comparison - unless he just means the potential concussion issue?

Canucks decisively won both those trades (notwithstanding the idiocy around cap recapture later).Trading away two 1C caliber centers (Pettersson and Miller) is the the natural iteration for a club that traded away two starting goaltenders (Luongo and Schneider).
