Seravalli actually said this is the case for a lot of scouting trips. A scout wants to take there wife out to a city and go to a nice restaurant, there’s a group of scout friends meeting up in the same place, they like the concessions, or there’s just a great restaurant they want to go to.
There wife?

Trading away anything significant, especially EP, would be monumentally stupid unless the return is light years better than what's getting posted around here.

A 2LD that can move the puck and carry their pairing would have a transformative impact on the consistency of this team.

I don't think we need to do anything too drastic here.

Send a pick and roster player $$$ to Nashville for Colton Scissons.

Heinen, Desharnais 2nd for Zadorov

Hoglander, Soucy Raty, 1st for Byram

I know none of these are realistic but I don't think Miller, Boeser, Demko, Pettersson should be going anywhere until we get another opportunity to see what a healthy Canucks squad can do in the playoffs.

I don't think any big names are going anywhere this season.

Thoughts on Zucker as a top-6 winger option?

I believe his name was brought up here around the deadline last season, and he was pretty decent against us in the playoffs.

It's like him or Vatrano when it comes to UFA wingers that wouldn't look out of place in the top-6 but also would likely be pretty cheap to acquire.

I think the forward group we have now is fine, but a Hoglander-out / 2nd line winger-in swap is probably the missing piece up front.

Jason Zucker might be an interesting rental. The problem is his contract. He's earning $5m and is 32 and not very big at 5'11" and 186.

But he's having a nice year so far with the sad-sack Sabres--8 goals and 13 assists.

Canucks what looks like 23rd in the league
Was also pointed out that the best two teams last year were Edmonton and Florida.
