Thats really not terrible value (with the expectation we aren't getting full value)...I'm really not a big KK fan, but Roslovic is probably valued at a late 2nd-early 3rd rounder value as a rental, Morrow is a very high quality RHD prospect and the 1st can be flipped and from where Carolina currently sits won't have bad value. Rather have this than the Rangers deal.Probably ends up being something like KK, Roslovic, Morrow + 1st.
I don't watch much of the AHL but kid just turned 22 in November and currently has a stat line of 9g 14a in 35 games. What's Morrows potential? Remember him highly regarded a couple seasons ago
Thanks for your input! Would be intriguing getting Nadeau or Unger Sorum in a package.Canes fan perspective here…
Not sure about a trade going down today as the Canes play Dallas tonight and aren’t current carrying any extra bodies, so if a trade were to go down today, it’d have to be go down pretty soon to give the Canes enough time to fill out the roster for the game tonight.
This of course assumes that Kotkaniemi + Roslovic is part of the return.
On the prospect/pick side of any potential deal, I’d think that one of Nadeau, Unger Sorum or Morrow are being talked about. And I’d say that out of those 3 Morrow would be the least likely to be dealt based on open spots the Canes will have next year on the blueline. I could also see the canes’ 2025 first being the main piece coming back over one of their higher end prospects.

Decent size at 6'2 as well.
You're in luck! We can send Desharnais back in the deal!Canes fan perspective here…

That would be very kind of youYou're in luck! We can send Desharnais back in the deal!
I have a source in the room and it's hilarious how wrong people like Ernie are. In the end it doesn't matter, JT wants out of this toxic City and environment. Lot's of blame to go around and they need to make the move. It's a shame as we haven't had players like JT often.Does everyone have a Vancouver source in our dressing room?
I’d say this Spittin Chiclets pod is just doing it for attention, but I don’t think I’ve seen Bissonnette making stuff up before
*edit: I got to the part in the pod where Bissonnette called garland a midget so I now refuse to believe the moron
JT has not limited the trade to 1 or 2 locations. it's sounds like he is being fairly flexible but obviously not playing in Canada. Shocked he signed here in the first placeIt definitely explains why that rumored Rangers offer was so shitty. If Miller has asked for a trade, his reputation is questionable, and everyone knows the Canucks want to trade him but he will only waive for one or two locations, we're going to get massively ripped off. There's no other way this realistically goes down.
Just an absolute piss poor mishandling of this from upper management. They've painted themselves into a corner by not keeping a tight lid on things. It's not a situation that can be salvaged by sitting tight and being patient - if they wait this out, they risk things really turning ugly and Miller potentially refusing to report.
Unfortunately, the only path that might make sense is for them to publicly keep making amends with Pettersson, and moving him close to the deadline to a team with LTIR space that wants the big name to help put them over the top. We would get much better value for Pettersson because we can trade him anywhere that can make the numbers work, although it will likely result in us taking back cap hits.
This could only happen to the Canucks. We have a generationally talented defenceman who is well on his way to multiple Norris trophies, and our two 90-100 point forwards can't put their differences aside. If this has shown me anything, it's that team chemistry is more important than any other metric. These guys have massive egos and if the coaching staff/front office can't keep them in check, this is what can happen.
I've seen enough of this core to know they aren't going to get it done.
that's an ok deal. Roslovic can be flipped. I bet it will be worse unfortunately.Probably ends up being something like KK, Roslovic, Morrow + 1st.
He’s older, profiles as an offensive righty… not sure about his defense. He would instantly become the Canucks best defensive prospect behind Willander though. What's Morrows potential? Remember him highly regarded a couple seasons ago
