Well, the next World Cup will be played in six countries, and the following one in Saudi Arabia…

In my home country's defense, this doesn't seem like it's being done because of the weather conditions here (it's a very large country with all sorts of climactic conditions around the nation), it's more like FIFA being greedy and they'd probably have done it anyway even if it was hosted somewhere else.

Probably 50/50 on whether they suggested it, but I wouldn't imagine the USSF had much of a choice when it was imposed by FIFA.

They just need to call it for what it is. The euphemism makes it worse.

So Panama is one of six national teams I've actually seen in person. I saw them in a CONCACAF Gold Cup match against Nicaragua one year. Two of the others are Mexico and Guadeloupe, who played each other in the match afterwards (it was one of those things where one ticket got you into two matches played back to back at the same venue).

Then the other two are when I saw a USA vs. Venezuela international friendly once.

I’ve seen far more club teams. Sweden, Cameroon, USA, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, El Salvador and that’s it.

Then Belgium/Iran on Sunday.

Then Belgium/Iran on Sunday.

I've only ever been to one club match: Arizona United SC (now called Phoenix Rising) vs. Los Angeles Galaxy. It was a US Open Cup match in 2014.

Panama are a very good team with a ton of chemistry. They know their system and they know each other very well.

Ghana have slightly more skilled players but they’re lost in relation to each other. You can see every pass they have to look at their target before they pass.
