Which is fine by me, I'd rather goals than no goals
Absolutely it’s been great so far, but it’s been fascinating to see exactly two teams come out to truly park the bus (and one of those teams still created a lot of good moments on the ball)

It’s not often I’ve seen a team under siege like this.

Modric out
In terms of ability this is like a Man City vs a relegation team except a relegation team that's pushing up and trying to play. Croatia's willingness to go toe to toe with teams like this without having the quality still to actually do it, well England could probably score 5 in this easily.

Livakovic redeemed himself with all those saves.
Heroic stuff.

My scouting report on him has always been that he's excellent at making saves, a bit of adventure when coming of his line for through balls or crosses and really shaky with the ball at his feet. I wouldn't want him on a good team over a league season, but he can save your rearend in a single game or in a bad 15 minute spell.

ITV1 is saying that Tuchel is powering up the English squad by standing up instead of sitting on the bench.

Damn, Tuchel is kinda powerful i guess, why doesn't he use his powers for good?

Now you see, that is what you're supposed to do. It's not working. You're under the pressure. So, change things up a bit and substitute your historical talisman.

That second Croatian goal is a candidate for goal of the tourney along with both Yasin Ayari's goals in the Sweden game.
