And they're missing players I like most of their current generation: Mitoma and Kyogo Furuhashi (who for some reason has always been shunted by their managers)Legitimately incredible how much progress Japan has made.

I remember when they launched the J-League, they had a 100 year plan to win a World Cup, not a typo. Their long term plan is coming together.Legitimately incredible how much progress Japan has made.
There are some saves that are everything about reflexes and nothing about technique.
... I stole that line from NHL 2000. Another one that's fun from that game is "... and he's showing him that denial is more than just a river in Egypt!" I steal that one all the time too.![]()
Daryl Reaugh commentary was funny in the game: Oh, he's living in denial! It's not good or bad, it's sort of vanilla. It's him against the world! He hit the post, he hit the post!
I'm not sure if it was 2000 or some other year's edition, but one of the funnier ones was occasionally during a break in play, the PA announcer would say, "attention fans: just a friendly reminder that the world is round, not flat."
Not surprising they were thinking the long game, very consistent with their culture in general.I remember when they launched the J-League, they had a 100 year plan to win a World Cup, not a typo. Their long term plan is coming together.
I’m not gonna lie. Give me a night with Tila Tequila in her prime lol.
All I’m saying is if the earth was a Brazilian, no one would ever think it’s flatWhat did I miss with all the flat earth talk lol
