The Czechs just such a workmanlike group utterly lacking in individual brilliance. Such a departure from those teams of the past.
Stamps are an automatic yellowDisaster for the Czechs. Not sure a 2nd yellow was warranted there.
He was making a toe pass and the Turkey players foot just ended up under his cleat. Could have let that one go considering it’s so early in the match.Stamps are an automatic yellow

A stamp doesn't have to be deliberate to be a yellow, it's been awarded all year long.Didn't really look deliberate to me but I'd have to see it again. Barak was also the one having his possession challenged.

It definitely exists in how some refs do games. I don't know if it should, but it does. I think it's the same old tale as in the NHL with some refs being very allergic to one team getting too many penalties in a row especially in high leverage situations (and I think this game equates to an NHL playoff game in terms of scenario). That should never be a consideration. If it's worth a yellow then you give a yellow, if it's not worth a yellow then you don't. "It's worth a yellow in the 80th minute, but not in the 20th minute" doesn’t exist.
