The results of the group shift around the R16 matchups slightly. The biggest (and really only notable) shift is that if Hungary is the last third place qualifier England gets the Netherlands, and if Turkey is the last third place qualifier then England gets Slovakia.

So we know England will be rooting for the Czechs and/or Georgians today.

Czechs badly want an even-up red. Absolute insane reactions to meh fouls.

edit: Get the f*** up!

This game is turning Conceicao into a 40-50 million player. Lol Neto dives and gets a yellow and almost gets a second yellow for whining directly after.

I feel like 10 or 11 men, it doesn't really make a huge difference, the way the Czechs were going to score in this is by header from a FK, cross or corner.

That should never be a consideration. If it's worth a yellow then you give a yellow, if it's not worth a yellow then you don't. "It's worth a yellow in the 80th minute, but not in the 20th minute" doesn’t exist.
It definitely exists in how some refs do games. I don't know if it should, but it does. I think it's the same old tale as in the NHL with some refs being very allergic to one team getting too many penalties in a row especially in high leverage situations (and I think this game equates to an NHL playoff game in terms of scenario).
