It’s legit awful and uncomfortable. You will injure your knee and ankle far more on turf. It’s horrible.

Let's just say I ended up with a significant amount of "carpet burn" from getting tackled on several occasions. On the plus side, I scored my first ever try playing rugby in that match. Was also kind of funny because I broke clear through the line and was jogging towards the posts to center it before grounding the ball, but my teammates kept yelling at me to put it down so I just kind of shrugged and did before I got all the way to the middle of the in-goal area.

I forgot if the conversion was good or not.
