GDT: Group B - May 9 - Finland vs Denmark

We might actually win Canada after this... I mean if our young team wins 3 in a row with ease, and then we go against a team who shows fight, we kinda answer with a laid back chill game without huge urgency... That's a very good thing that we made that mistake against Denmark early on so that we will go to war against Canada and not to enjoy the ice
 
Oh well, first tougher opponent against Finland and here come the troubles... Denmark with much more urgency and passion today, congrats for the win. I hope Finns just underestimated them and will learn the lesson from this defeat. They are relatively a young team so maybe such a shake-up will help them in next games. Today only Granny and Heiskanen played above average. Third line is still missing.

I doubt that! With this coach you can t have success! He is a club coach and not suitable for a national team.

The issue is how easily Finland was shut down in the third. That falls on the coach to play a hockey which kills the speed. It is not the players fault.
 
Germany-Finland game just got interesting. Both Germany and Finland play back to back games before their match but GER gets 9 hours of more rest so things should be pretty even considering how close the DEN-GER game was, especially if Finland vs Canada game becomes a war.
 
I'm fully loving the narrative that this is Marjamäki's loss. Nobody elses. Absolutely nobody else could have done anything better.
At the same time, the 1st 3 wins were anything but Marjamäki's wins. The narrative is drilled too deeply into the fans minds its so laughable.

Also- ''Replace Pokka with Heiskanen'' when they're on the same f***ing pair.
Handedness issues on the power play surely will be rectified by a 18 year old youngster, he's superior to everyone on the team ;)
