That's Marjamäki's anti-hockey for you. His slow, passive, unimaginative coaching style is incredibly detrimental for the team.
Where did the entertaining, aggressive forecheck-hockey disappear to? Is that only a thing for Marjamäki against the weak teams? Against the better teams I guess you aren't allowed to play well... But considering how badly Denmark lost to USA and Canada, they really shouldn't be such a problem. Finland should be ahead of USA...

Denmark has huge goaltending advantage over Finland. Andersen is 10 times better than Husso, and miles better than Säteri also. That's huge thing.

I don't agree. You can't really blame Husso for the goals and some minutes ago he did a big save otherwise it would stand 3-1 for Denmark.

No forecheck, no grit. Marjamäki plays his Worl-cup passive hockey again. He never learns.

Yes he is better but the difference isn't really that big, Husso has been fine today, it's the atrocious defense and giveaways why Denmark is leading.

2nd goal was saveable and he even got a piece of it. Husso has been fine though, Denmark is just playing better hockey so far.

Sorry but the second goal was the result of a lack of defense. The Danish player was not disturbed at all he could skate alone against Husso.

Love how Danish defense is ready to make last stand of Thermopylai to keep the lead.

Grit. Sisu.

After all, it's Danelag where Finns are trying to raid, and we are not Kingdom of Mercia.

anyone with a stream? Also apparently katsomo.fi doesn't have live streams? MTV is such a bs network.

The way I see it, the issue tonight has been -- even though this is a term I normally have nothing but the deepest disdain for -- softness. The Danes have played a physical game and worked very hard, and so those nifty tick-tack-toe plays that were so productive against previous opponents have disappeared. Coming up with alternative ways to score has proven to be too much to ask of these players so far.
