Not really though. Matthews has been barely visible apart from that one poke check on a confused Laine who expected an offside whistle.

After the Vatrano goal, Team USA carried the play 5 on 5. Vatrano-Matthews-Schroeder was really good. Third line is the only one that hasn't done much. Just need the defensemen to make better decisions in the defensive zone and they got a good shot at getting a win
