It is pretty exciting, it has really been our biggest weakness for a long time now. All of a sudden in a five year swing it seems like it might be their biggest strength very shortly.

Hopefully this shuts people up about him not being a goal scorer and crap. He can score at a high level, this has been obvious for years. Laine is obviously more of an Ovie/Stamkos type, but he can still score.
Larkin led all US players in ice time and shots on goal. Matthews was second in both categories.
Matthews's great game will get lots of attention, and deservedly so, but I'd like to note Larkin has played with very impressive poise and confidence in the first two games. He's gonna be something when he moves to centre full time in Detroit.
