Obviously that’s part of the explination, but before this game it still looked like he contributed to their success. I though Wennberg looked good the other shift then I realized there was a four and not a one before the zero.

He does it ok at the tournament, though. Plays great defense even vs teams like Sweden, which is on a good NHL level.

It beginning to look like this swedish team just isn't good enough to compete with the absolute best teams in this tournament. You can still argue they have yet to show their highest level. I just don't think there is so much more than this. They have now lost (probably) against the two toughest opponents in the group and also won two close fights against the other two capable teams in the group. I have seen nothing that convince this team will bring something else when it matters against the best teams.

Against Latvia, Czechia, Switzerland and Russia the best goalie depth we have had at the WHC has now let in a combined 14 goals in 3 and a half games. Not very good.
