Adam Larsson are a beast in the Wc, wish he could take this play to the Nhl, in Oilers he rarely follow up in attacks!

Huh? Lindholm was the one who turned over the puck for swiss 1-0.

It was deep in the offensive zone and we had plenty of players back. That goal was made possible because of a bad pinch by Gustafsson. Then Pettersson picked up the far guy too late and he scored.

Eriksson needs to be replaced.
Yup, he's shrinking like an oasis in a desert. He can't even connect semi-difficult passes. He's in a hole.

Because Larsson plays in the wrong system for his kind of excelling hockey. Edmonton has such a traditional, stale role that doesn't allow Larsson do develop.

In Edmonton he wonders if he should quit hockey. Playing for Sweden he's awesome. Edmonton wants Larsson in the role of defensive defenseman goon. He can do so much more.

Nike.... great f***ing job.... I honestly haven't seen a Jersey from any country that I haven't like... everyone is unique

Right on. And I'm not surprised.
Yep, not surrpised at all.

I mean these guys are good, well coached and prepared too, play a real good team game pretty much always and their skill level across the board is better then it's ever been.

You go into a game against Switzerland at this thing now you better have your socks up.

what's up with Petterson? he has been invisible

He was invisible the last 35 games in the NHL too. His first season with this many (tough) games and he probably shouldn't have been in the WCs, but instead rested his body AND mind - like Dahlin.

Still, Lindholm hasnt shown much either in this tournament.

if the Oilers can turn it around... A. Larsson will stand out... every team needs defensive specialists

Switzerland deserved to end the period tied. Too many amateur-level mistakes on D, can't do that against Sweden. Sweden, when pressured and physically challenged, looks beatable. Give them time, space and don't touch them = big problems.

Definitely agree with you

they are outspeeded ... we had the real opportunities in the 2nd tiers.

Good game so far.

Adam Larsson can be so solid in the right role. Give him a #2 role and he will be a pillar of a #2 D-man, both ways. Not the role he has in the traffic accident considered Edmonton hockey.

Watch how he plays with OEL. They're world class.

Yes look like Canucks f***ed up here, he should be in the gym like Dahlin.

Guys, Adam Larsson... cracking hits, stellar defensive game, always in the right spot - all around great performance last year together with OEL. :thumbu:
