It's hilarious. The whole period feels like the Italians (sorry for saying that) do not even belong, yet we are up by just 1 goal

It will eventually get better but no way we will overcome Sweden and Russia in goal diference if all teams end up sitting with 18 points.

We need to drastically improve our scoring efficiency though - its absolutely bonkers! I can't remember any recent game where we burned that many chances!

Why not. Second line quite invisible, first line lacks the grit on the goal in my eyes but two players still have 10 points (Frolík leads to whole tournament in points) and Simon 7pts. Faksa enhanced FO, Plzen line looked fresh ad might continue in two days. Shame Jaškin didn't complete hattrick. And clean sheet for Francouz. Overall quite satisfied, also with Bartošák commenting for our TV.

I didn't expect much from top 2 lines... no injuries and let the other guys do the scoring. I was hoping Faksa and Palat would get some points to help the confidence. Palat is cursed. I think Musil got a point as well.

A swedish article today explains that the 3rd team of this group plays russia in semis. And even if sweden beats russia in group play we need better GD to not let the czechs finish ahead of us.

Stupid playoff rules though. They changed it this year. Swedish coach is angry about it.
