They only have 0 goals because of some unfortunate bounces.

They've controlled the play and had the better chances. Poor goaltending and some good Finnish goaltending has been the difference so far.
Vastly disagree on "better chances". Now they have a PP let's see how it goes.

This losss may help Canada.

Adversity and getting that oiler sieve out of the net.

Good on Finland.

They're a strong team and show up in every international tournament.

We'll see you guys again in the elimination round!

As for Perry's play. I don't think it's nearly as bad as some are making it open to be, but let's be real. If someone hit McDavid like that I'd be pissed. Countryman bias at it's best!

Cheers everyone

What on earth is happening here. The puck is like remote controlled against Canada.

Hopefully this game will be a wakeup call, like Canada's 6-2 loss to the Czechs in 2004 just before the QFs. Canada went on to win gold.

And again, this presents us with an easier path - Sweden, then Czech/USA, instead of Russia in the SF.

Finnish goaltender has looked very good.

Compare to Talbot?

The game should really be 1-0 at worst. Most of the game has been in Finland's zone. This one's on Talbot.

On the Corey Perry scale of dirty, that play rates a 2 out of 10.

A lot of overreaction going on here.

It sucks to see players get hurt by stupid and unnecessary plays. Certainly not the worst I've seen from Perry, but stupid and unnecessary nevertheless.
