Who's the backup goalie fot TC? I'd pull Talbot now even though you can't blame him for the last one
 
What a response from Finland after things got a little ugly.. Talbot probably gonna gets pulled before/during the 3rd period..
 
I don't know why people blame the reffing. It hasn't been perfect but it has been still better than the NHL was this season.

I think it was just to trip him but not really to injury. But it sure god me high rev for a moment when I thought the injury is game ending. Probably groin or ankle.
 
Horror play by Perry, he should be out of the tournament.
 
Atleast in Winnipeg Laine will have Buff to watch out for plays like those.

Talbot has sucked, but Canada's offense has been pathetic.
 
The good news for Canada. They don't have to take on Russia in the next game. They get the Swedes.

If the Canadians had the Russians the way they're playing right now, they'd get smoked.
 
Things were going great ,dont understand why .Team Canada always feels the need to keep adding players ,thus messing with already budding chemistry:rant:
 
At some point you need to start questioning the coaching decision regarding lines. Absolutely no offensive pressure generated from a stacked lineup.

It's time to change the lines drastically to try and get something going. The Finns have an awful defence yet they're being stymied all game long.

At least we'll be facing an equally-bad Sweden (who are down 4-0 to Russia), while avoiding Russia in the Semis.

So I'm actually OK with this horrid performance today.

Oh well at least Talbot lost his starting job going into the elimination round.
 
Yeah, the game actually means nothing, but this reffering looks unfair. It should be a couple PP for Canada, instead Finns scored a goal.
 
I think Canada hasn't been embarrassing. Took their foot of the gas, some stupid penalties and bad goaltending. There is an entire period left, this is still a game. Never underestimate Canada.
