Not this time, my Hungarian friends :) 5-1 Germany

Why is Banham scratched? Injured or just tired?

Although Germany is having its best tournament in years, they have nothing to play for vs Hungary, so I think they'll take it easy, thus giving a chance to Hungary to surprise and make another history. Wishing luck to our southern neighbors. :handclap:

A win would guarantee Germany finishes third in Group B, so they don't have to face the winner of Group A.

Which might not be a good thing, since Russia is currently 2nd in group A

Although it's impossible to predict who will end up 2nd in that group. So many possible outcomes.

We only need one more miracle guys and we can celebrate like this for at least a week!
We can do this!
Hajrá Magyarország!

I like Ray Ferraro, who is commentating on Canadian TV, but he just claimed 2 million Hungarians out of a population of something like of 5.4 million watched the victory against Belarus. Sorry Ray but Hungary has 10 million people. (Maybe only 5.4 million have access to the channel showing IIHF?). Still great TV numbers though.:handclap: And now they lead against Germany!

Germany needs to convert on their break chances. Other than they won't get anything but long shots from the point because Hungary creates traffic in front of their own net.

come on germany let hun have 3 points ... you dont need them to reach QF, the belaruskies deserve to go down.
