4th line will be Skalický - Šťastný - Lušňák and Hudáček will be the starter. Daňo could be game-time decision.

Doesn't seem to matter what lines they are in, we generally miss certain type of players. Centers, playmakers. Even if Reway played really well, that wouldn't be enough.
This seem to be the match where they either totally fall apart or get their act together and attempt for QFs.

It sucks that all the Slovakian stars declined to play in WHC when Slovakia most needed it. I mean Hossa, Gaborik, Chara and the list goes on... This is the year to prove what Slovakia is about after the decision of World Cup not even having team Slovakia.

Actually, the list ends right there  Also, I wouldn't call Gaborik and Chara stars, not anymore.

Slovakia isn't what it used to be sadly, and we have to admit that it would be totally uncompetitive even with the best line up possible. I think last time around Slovakia was already struggling to compete in the World Cup, and there was a much stronger player generation around

Belarus should be well rested, they will play Slovaks hard. They were able to skate with Canada for 1 period so this could be an interesting game.

Not watching broadcast either, just stats. Did SVK really outplay BLR the way the stats suggest?

Thanks for nothing Slovakia...

Wow, what a collapse. Thought they could pull off the win with a 2 goal lead easily against a very weak Belarus squad...

I wonder whether or not would this team be able to win 1.A division, when we can't even hold 2 goal lead vs weak Belarus.

In Finland we have rich NHL players and companies giving hockey gears to kids who can't afford it.. I guess that would be the only chance for Slovakia to get out of this hole. They surely have the talent since they produced so many great players but something must be done so they can find the talent and that the talent can afford to play..

:shakehead

Slovakia has some dumb defence men.. both 2 last goals were on very very bad plays by D.
