Easily the most chances by Finns so far.
If Jokinen wasn't NHL player he'd be on the bottom6 for awhile, bad decisions time after again killing the play.
3rd period we probably see some better play and couple goals. There was some good shifts already.
This game is way more lopsided than the one against Canada was. But the Finns have sloppy finishes and Vay has been excellent, while the Canadians executed better in front of the net and Hetényi wasn't playing well.

Yup. Hea doesnt have that flash but hes played a good as anyone in all three zones.
Granny and Laine being best on first two. Nothing needs to take away from Hungary, they play with heart.

I'm certain that Kari "the nose" Jalonen knows best how to compost the team Finnish Lions. This game has been seen very nice otherwise than scoring the goals, if your Finnish Lions keep this going, there will be clean victory after 20 more minutes of forceful time.
That's what I was thinking, maybe Vay will get a chance to try out for a Liiga or Mestis team after this performance.

I hope IPK people are waken. They just raised to Mestis and have pretty big hockey boom because of that. He could be affordable top goalie.

Been good but Finns are often good at this.
Hetényi, who played mediocre against Canada, has already played in the Liiga and the Mestis. It is not impossible for a Hungarian goalie to get a Finnish contract.
No wonder Lindell didn't get his change in the NHL this season. He is awful. What happened to him in one season?
