No way it will be this close, they are missing some key players. 5-1 is my guess.

What I always love about Russia is that they don't give up. They don't slow down after 4, 5 goals. I see this getting to 7-1 at least.

We are gonna get smashed. Missing a few our our key players, and Russia is having a very strong team from the start this year.

This is Russias year to win it IMO.

If just the Russians stars accept that they will have to WORK for it, they will win easy. Now that's not always the case these days. In Soviet Russia they would be sent to Gulag if not 10-0. That's motivation!

I understand, you kinda joked, but still... Soviet team lost 2 WHCs in a row to Czechs in 1976 and 1977 years. The 1st loss didn't cost anything to the team's head coach Kulagin, despite we lost one of the games to Poland (!) 6-4, but after the 2nd loss he was fired, and Tikhonov came instead. Players weren't affected at all.

Yeah but reality is not fun, gotta go with the myth somtimes ;)

I really like Haukeland and Norway, but I cant see how this is not going to be a destruction. Expecting Russian powerplay to be soo sexy

Malkin-Kucherov connection, beautiful chemistry on the PP and both guys will get assists. They should play together at ES, IMO. Malkin great passing on the powerplay to set up Russia's first goal.
