Lol, TSN dude, damn can't remember his name, my memory is terrible.

Anyway he just said, Germany can lose tonight and still qualify for the QF if they beat Finland. I find that weird.

Why is it weird lol? Lots of teams qualify for the QF with 1 win, all you have to do it beat the team with 0 wins since only 1 team doesn't qualify. Same thing goes for Finland

Yeah, that was weird

I like the Danes and the Swiss. So it doesn't matter to me, but I hope they both make the medal round.

However, as a Canadian, I've always hated playing the Swiss. They scare me because they usually hang around.

This isn't the traditional, tight-checking Swiss team but a team that's very dangerous offensively. So far they've tried to outplay their opponents head on, and we saw what Russia did to them when they tried it.

Don't think Canada would have any problems with the Swiss, unless they played their usual defensive game.

Yeah, but you still have Fiala bias :sarcasm:

I don't agree, I think this period was even at the very least.

i could agree with you that the 2nd period was even, but the argument was about the whole game, and overall you have to see that Switzerland was clearly the better team. With or without Swiss glasses. Game would've been over after 20 mins if you'd switch goalies.

Yeah, he's an idiot.

No, I was actually only talking about the 2nd period.. No doubt the Swiss were dominant in the first.. Only a fool would say otherwise.

But I don't agree on the goalies... Sørensen let in a softie aswell.

I do not want to get into this silly discusion, but you don't switch goalies, do you? What kind of argument is that? You have the goalie you have. You cannot just leave out the bad players for your own team when estimating the strength of the teams. Teams are tied at 3. That is all that matters.

Agreed..

And we even get a little scrum... :handclap:

The more I see Bjorkstrand, the more I think that Columbus may have gotten themselves a 3rd round steal. But even he will need to gain a ton of weight and strength to cut it at the pro game.

Did Ehlers need an executive order to take a shot on goal there?

Oh come on, did you even read my post? I said goalies are the reason that Denmark was still alive after the first period, not that anyone should switch them.
So that means SUI played better but DEN had a better goalie performance. Never said goalies weren't part of the game or that the result is unfair etc...
