All of Denmark's games have been entertaining, except against Sweden.

Denmark need to hold on for 20 minutes and they'll be in good position to advance to the medal round.

I really hope they grab 2 points and finish 3rd, then Canada beats the U.S.

Would result in a Denmark vs USA clash, so I can cheer for the Danes again instead of Denmark vs Canada.

Ok. i love this Danish team, we had a good team in 2007 with Bødker, Eller, Larsen, Oliver, Andersen you name it. (all NHLers)
But this team got spunk, i dont care if they go down in the end, but they are amasing

The Danish team are known for not shooting enough when in the offensive zone. And I wouldn't say the Swiss have spent more time in the O zone in the 2nd, at least not enough to call it a Swiss period.

2nd period was even with imo a slight edge to Denmark. Only Swiss glasses would see it otherwise.

Other than the powerplays Switzerland was all over Denmark. Breaking up every neutral zone pass and maintaining possession in the zone...there are too many stars in my glasses to mistake them for Swiss.

I like the Danes and the Swiss. So it doesn't matter to me, but I hope they both make the medal round.

However, as a Canadian, I've always hated playing the Swiss. They scare me because they usually hang around.

It sucks that if both Denmark/Swiss make the QF they have to be 3rd/4th in some order. Means if both make it, one of them plays Canada. I'd like to see like Canada/Russia, then Denmark and the Swiss play USA and Slovakia or something so I can cheer for us, and both of them.

If Canada got Denmark, I'm probably cheer for Denmark. To come up and make the SF would be awesome, though extremely unlikely.

Hopefully they fix it for the last third.

I don't agree, I think this period was even at the very least.
 
Knowing Denmark, the Swiss will win this..

I could see a Danish collaps in the 3rd..

The Swiss are the better team, no doubt. But the Swiss were not as dominant in the 2nd as some want to make out.
 
Lol, TSN dude, damn can't remember his name, my memory is terrible.

Anyway he just said, Germany can lose tonight and still qualify for the QF if they beat Finland. I find that weird.

Why is it weird lol? Lots of teams qualify for the QF with 1 win, all you have to do it beat the team with 0 wins since only 1 team doesn't qualify. Same thing goes for Finland
 
It was known from the start that Switzerland was weak on the goalie position after years of having exceptional goalies. I would not blame Descloux, but he's certainly not a great goalie. However, some dmen are just horrible. The way this game has been going, I would be surprised if Switzerland would still win it, unless Denmark completely deflates. More likely there will be more stupid penalties and powerplay goals from Denmark ahead.
