Set up a nice goal, and had a nice SO goal.
Other than that, it's clear he was tired. Too much ice time, and too much responsibility.
Has a tendency to go for the flashy move instead of the safe move, which he needs to stop with.
He had a few giveaways, but then again, I would not hold some of his mistakes against him, since A LOT has relied on him.
I have heard people say Nylander > Ehlers and Pstrnak > Ehlers and Fiala > Ehlers in this tourney. But I do not agree.. Those people tend to forget who Ehlers plays for and how much responsibility is on him. Also how bad of a D he has behind him.
It is easy for players like Fiala, Nylander and Pstrnak to excel against a team like Denmark.
Overall he and Bjorkstrand together with Sørensen and to a lesser extent Eller, have been the only reason Denmark have done so well.
He and Bjorkstrand have been studs for what they have to work with.
BUT, and this is a bit BUT, he really needs to stop with the fancy pancy plays.
