GDT: Group B • Dec. 30 • Slovakia vs. Finland

There were some stretches in the Russia game where Finland looked fantastic. If they manage to play like that without getting overexcited, I would be very happy.
 
This won't be easy game for Finland.
If / when Finland takes the lead please young lions don't melt down again.

Finland's chances for win group B are gone.
Canada / USA will face Finland in quarterfinals.

After horrible melt down against Russia i don't know what to expect.
But that's for sure Rantanen should wake up now and same regards for Hintz.

I don't know how good / dangerous Slovakia is on powerplay.
But however Finland can't be undisciplined and take idiotic penalties like the did in Russia game.

So one key point will be that can Finland stay out of the penalty box.
Honestly said Finland's shouldn't take penalties at all anymore.

I sense strong offensive eruption coming from young Finnish Lions! Nice tribute to "Teemu" Selänne in front of the game.
 
if either team loses this in regulation(probably Slovakia) then they're locked into 4th and will play Sweden in QF barring some epic Dane comeback in that game

I can't watch when some ones leg bends like that. Almost like it was my own. His tournament probably is over..

He wasn't bad at last game neither, unlike some one thought. But I guess you can see / unsee things so differently in games, lets agree to disagree and focus in this one.

I mean the whole line. Kapanen was okay but rest of the line wasnt there.
 
Finland looking much calmer tonight than on Monday. Now we just need some goals.
