50 save shutout for Huska. :sarcasm:

I wouldn't complain though with a 1-0 Finland win on a Saarela goal with Huska only having 49 saves.

These lines cannot be up to date by any means but just randomly posted?
Ya.

This game has a pretty awesome start when Teemu "Teukka" Selänne gets his jersey up in the arena. Hopefully this gets the finns going.

I think Kalapudas will start in the first line and Kasperi Kapanen in the third line.

According to Yle our lines are today (http://yle.fi/urheilu/kahkonen_maalilla__kaatuuko_slovakia_nailla_ketjuilla/8560316):

Mikko Rantanen - Roope Hintz - Antti Kalapudas
Patrik Laine - Sebastian Aho - Jesse Puljujärvi
Kasperi Kapanen - Julius Nättinen - Aleksi Saarela
Kasper Björkqvist - Miska Siikonen - Juho Lammikko
13: Sebastian Repo

Olli Juolevi - Joni Tuulola
Miro Keskitalo - Vili Saarijärvi
Niko Mikkola - Sami Niku
7: Eetu Sopanen

Starting goalie:Kaapo Kähkönen

Expect nothing from Kalapudas. He shouldn't be on the team, let alone on the first line.

The boys better come out flying after the terrible showing last game. Hat trick from both Pulju and Laine and both to have an assist to each of the corresponding goals. Anything short of that will be a disappointment.

Rantanen is playing RW, Kapanen is playing RW. Just lazy reporting by YLE.

Scratching Repo and 'enabling' Kalapudas as a left winger, meh.
Repo hasn't been playing bad and certainly is the better player out of the two. He deserved to play. The guy should be on the ice and like many people have posted Jalonen should have brought Saarela in to the 2nd line since he seems to be a hot player. Hintz hasn't seemed like a top 6 player at all, but he has very good treats for the bottom 6 (size & speed). Hopefully Jalonen wakes up until it's game over.

Jalonen's decisions are starting to look like a bit questionable the very least.
Even so, no matter the line up this is a win and hopefully by a large margin. Just worrisome as these line ups will affect the future games and this could possibly mean that Repo is out of the tournament since coaches normally won't shuffle much after winning a game.

Well, they wanted to get Kapanen off that line. It just wasn't working and Kapanen was the best there. We will see how things turn out. But I think separating Kapanen was a good choice.

I'm expecting a close one. 3-2 Finland wins.

Hm, I think the Finns take it 4-1 or 4-2, the Slovaks could give them somewhat of a hard time.

Match will likely be delayed a bit. That's because Teemu Selänne is getting his jersey to the roof and there will be a ceremony, which in Teemu's case won't be short.

Hehe, Teemu Selänne's awesome, a class act.

Having two natural wingers as our top 6 centers is pretty bad for puck possession if you ask me. That's really the only complaint I can give to the Laine-Aho-Puljujärvi line, Aho can't take a face-off to save his life.

I feel like Jalonen is trying to build off the chemistry Hintz and Rantanen had last year but obviously it's just not there. I would try out Saarela as Rantanen's center. He might be able to help Mikko find his game.

Locked lines is the reason I almost hope they don't win. I don't worry about Repo so much, but if they use this new Hintz line like a first line, I'm not convinced they can win gold.
