Dude's legit small. Not much bigger then Gerbe height wise from Canes camp, and Gerbe is at least built like a frigin TANK.

That late goal hurts, but being up a goal going to the 3rd is still a huge plus at this point, the way this is going Denmark can still win this even if Russia scores another.

That's a valid point, but at the same time if Denmark doesn't score another goal, Russia can win by scoring 2 or more goals.

We have so small generations since our pool of players is so small. its amazing to be ahead. Our senior team hasn't even beaten russia ever so for the u20 to have a shot at a win is so impressive

Buchnevich has done nothing. He is, IMO, the most overrated player in the tournament. Ranger fans are going to be very disappointed with him. He has excellent talent, but I don't expect him to make a showing in the tough games when he's really needed. All talent, no character, IMO..

If he is the most overrated player in the tournament, then the KHL is the most overrated league in the world. Glad you know the future so well. He is a kid. Who knows how he will turn out? Nobody.

Eliteprospects has Gerbe listed at 161 and Tolchinski 170 lbs, the Russian apparently got 4 inches on him though.

Haha that's a bad comparison. Plenty of good players from KHL have played in this tourney recently.

That wasn't the point the other poster made. Just saying it's not Russia's fault Canada is always choking with their NHL players. Also WC is much more relevant than WJC although i like wjc more.

But it isn't WJC are the best up and coming players. It shows what is in the pipeline for countries. WC shows that an A team can beat B or C teams. Not something I'd be too proud of.
