If you clear the puck first and then trip a guy up, it's not a penalty. Or, maybe IIHF has some weird rule about it I don't know about.

Omark is 10 times better now than he was during his NHL stint.

Forechecking and working hard while making a lot of great plays offensively.

He seemed to lose all of his enthusiasm in Edmonton, happy to see he's got it back again.

Yes you can trip a player if you hit the puck first! Otherwise defensemen would never throw themselves on oddman rushes to clear the puck! If you clear the puck and then trip up the player, if it's an automatic call every time very few D-men would swipe for the puck. It's not an automatic call as far as I know.

I never to this day understand why Edmonton drafted him and I feel sorry for him Edmonton of all franchises drafted him. They had a ridiculous abundance of skill forwards and had nothing else. Zuccarello is the best forward in NYR today, if Edmonton got him, he wouldn't play in NHL.
