Because it´s Germany. Because the roster could have been better, even without the best players from NHL.
Man oh man, i really think Heponiemi is much better than most of the players for an example. He could have helped our best player, Kakko.

Olkinuora scored 2 points in his first game and had 100% saving %, IMO to go into the tournament was the #1goalie clearly but for some reason he's not being used, instead it's Lankinen who's good for 1-2 softies a game.

To be fair this German team is getting underated. Ther are good hockey players on this team. They also have shown that against the US.
It is great to see German hockey has taken strides foreward and made the transistion from the Sturm, Goc, Hecht, Erhoff, Seidenberg generation to the next.

No, Finland beat Canada. That doesn't mean they're the better team. Just like Germany isn't a better team than Finland no matter how this game ends. It's only one game.

Pretty much. Draisaitl has also been very good. It's kinda crazy that Germany is ahead because they have more NHL talent.

They're lucky that they faced Canada when they weren't ready and that Slovakia choked vs Germany, otherwise this match could send Finland home. And yeah, I'm unhappy about quite a few things. You must enjoy this play by Team Finland, then?

Actually no, but I like that they have won 5 games. I've said previously that this team is just Kakko.

Sure. Switzerland is 15/1 to win gold. Sweden is somewhere around 3/1 or 4/1. "About same level".
