Finland should win. Finland's behind in material but has punched way above their weight thus far. Denmark lost their best player. Hoping for a good game and many goals.

Finland has struggled against Denmark, Germany, etc recently (mental thing?), so I'll say just because of injuries, Finland wins barely by 2-1.

For the record, Finland has lost their last WC-level game against every opponent they have left to play in this preliminary round (Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain). Last GB game was so long ago that it's irrelevant, though. Anyway, it's interesting to see if it's easier or tougher to play against these "small" countries now that there's no star players in Finland's roster.

No, far from it! Historically Finland has been much better than Denmark.

Sweden - Finland and
Denmark - Norway
are rivalry games

Yeah I agree, perhaps the rivalry is the wrong word. Two almost neighbor-countries would be make more sense. And despite the history between these two, Finland hardly has a stronger team on paper.

Say what?
Denmark has NHL stars, Finland has some plugs from third tier leagues.

It's true, though, that without Lars Eller it's not quite so bad. But even Nicklas Jensen is better than any Finn outside of Kakko, etc.

Because Denmark doesn't have players from 3rd tier leagues  And a top scoring player from Jokerit is on Finnish team.

Considering that The Denmark has the Finnish "Father of Danish Hockey", after some tight past games with better roster against Danes, and their overall development over few past years, I can't, simply can't see this game as "piece of cake". There are nothing that wouldn't be spotted by Danish 'counter-intelligence'.

We can read that fact on a front page of some news papers.

Possibly the hardest game of the tournament for Finns this far. They cannot come to this game with half-attitude. Even with good start, they cannot stop play.

Naturally I hope I'm wrong, but the crows on a sky in their flight doesn't make me declare...

Denmark doesn't have any NHL stars. We have one third line center and a talent that never evolved into what he could have become. Add to that a marginal fourth line player on freaking Oilers and a couple of guys that didn't had what it took, either physical or talentwise to fully make it and now plays in KHL instead. No my friend, Denmark does not have better material.

The fact that we have a handful of players from the Danish league should end that discussion right away.
