GDT: Group A - May 15 - Switzerland (2) vs Sweden (3) (SO)

SUI has a lot to play for, if they don't get at least a point in this game they won't reach QF unless kazakhstan beats dennmark (not gonna happen)

I love it. Hockey is an intense game, always better when there's some hate between the teams. Makes it more entertaining.

Or peaceful (as a Dane I should know :laugh:). I think we have been to war 71 times through history I remember seeing once. It only stopped because we lost hope in getting Skåne back.
Maybe we will believe again if we beat you in hockey eventually lol

But it's crazy with 9 penalties in one period, where the referee let tons of stuff slide and it's "only" a group game - how will it look when we get to playoff later :sarcasm:
I can understand for the Swiss, but why the Swedes go into this type of game?? It's not to their advantage or playing style and they will risk serious injuries for a game that doesn't really matter for the Swedes that much (no risk of not getting QF spot).

Nor the Swiss who had an early history of warmongres ... bringing mercernaries to all Europe ... this is where the Vatican Swiss guards stand for. At the time, all kings had Swiss personal guards.

Whatever today we are pretty close ... except on ice i guess. today at least ;)

The physicality and cheap shots have mostly been delivered from the Swiss.
 
As much as the Sweedes deserve to lose points here, I hope they will get 3, I want to see Denmark in the QF.

sweden has no risk not getting QF spot?! please do the math again...
