Klasen just stop trying to be fancy pants when your not. And why WHY pick Klasen over Nyquist? MÃ¥rts???

Not Sweden's day. Those guys are usually the best.

Really? Klasen hasn't done much this tournament he has been carried by Wennberg and Nyquist, Omark on the other hand has done well. (although I really only meant the shootout but when you force me to think about it Klasen hasn't been good.)

Thanks Burakovsky (helping the Ehlers family) he took of his invisibility cloak and made it happen.
If the Swiss lose to the Czech in regulation, Denmark can get a QF with just a draw (and OT/SO loss) against Kazakhs even if Latvia wins over Norway.

The shoot-out wen't as expected.

That means the Swiss probably need 3 points against Czechia. That's a tough task.

with the team we have not putting burakovsky on the powerplay (albeit a jetlagged one) should be a fireable offense.

Gonna be a great game, we also need to get 3 points to win the group and to not have to move.

Took a Skåning to help the Danes, while these Swedish Linus's didn't do much good..........:sarcasm:

The Swiss need the day off badly. Back-to-back Russia and Sweden, you could see they were gazed in the end. Alot of effort, only 1 point.
If they recover, I expect a tough battle, I agree.

We'll see one of these games in the QF:

Canada - Sweden
Canada - Russia
Finland - Sweden
or Finland - Russia

Atleast BÃ…G could make players come and represent their country. MÃ¥rts is to much ***** to give it to these spoiled little *****

Maybe a shake up at coach would be good.

In my opinion, in best-on-best hockey right now, Canada and Sweden are currently the two top nations in the world. Our D for both countries separate us from everyone else.

Well, that is not true. Players have been rejecting en masse for ever. They did it under Hardy, they did it under BÅG, they did it under Mårts and the will do it under Grönberg

Look for instance at the BÃ…G coached 2007 tournament. Only one NHLer, second year player Alexander Steen:

I mean, I'm superdisappointed in all the declines this year, but it is hardly a new thing. It is only when we have a home tournament that we get a good team, otherwise mass rejects.

Don't worry. Canada has done that for years with this tournament. True fans of international hockey know how good Sweden is in best-on-best. Your players seemed to have adopted a NA attitude to this tournament.

It seems like Hockey Canada has started taking it more seriously the past couple years with the IIHF awarding TSN sweetheart contracts after the NHL decided to give the NHL broadcasting rights to Sportsnet.
