Sergei Mozyakin has scored his 1000th point on the top level (RSL + KHL + adult international level).

I said before tourney, Danes showed some weaknesses they hadnt showed before in a long time and that relegation was not out off the Q. at this point I think we are the worst team in this group, even though we beat Norway we were bad in that game aswell. something is wrong with the team.

Why didn't they change goalie? I get that it wouldn't have changed much, but leaving anybody to suffer through so much pressure is cruel.

Certainly there is a lack of discipline when it comes to penalties. This will constantly break the flow of your game and Danish teams in all sports need that "flow".
That's why Norway in most cases when we have met them in WC could disrupt the Danish play by causing irritation (lucky for us they forgot to do that this game around, with Tollefsen unusually docile).
Here we are causing our own problems without the opponents even have to work for it.

The lack of centers because of injuries probably is a big factor as well...
Games against Latvia and Kazakhstan will make it boom or bust for Denmark.
I will say right now it looks 50-50 for staying or relegation.
Penalties against the Kazakh efficiency in PP will hurt us big time.

Better to let the 2nd goalie get shot down than put in the 1st goalie who we need tomorrow when we have lost bigtime anyway.

Well denmark is still the favourite in the tomorrows game, if for no other reason than that NHL line of yours. Seriously Ehlers scares me.

there will always be a thousand excuses, my question is, why does it always seem like we are lucky in staying up? we rarely play those really good games like Norway, Latvia and even France. why do we always get heavily outshot even against weaker teams. why always below 30 sog even against weaker nations. why so many penalty mins. why such stupid defence, they look like headless chickens way way too often, also against the weaker nations.

maybe they are just not as good as we think. maybe we have been lucky for too many years.

I think Latvia is the fav. tomorrow. Ehlers is good, but too good for this team:cry:

will Ovie disrupt Russian chemistry, will they depend on him too much, will they get away from their game.

Because until now we have been lucky that one team played worse than us
Eventually this luck will run out off course. The question is whether it will be this year or not.
But almost every year (except 2003 and 2010) it has been like that.
Last WC saw the best Danish defense I can remember and now it was simply among the worst I have seen.
Perhaps they need to be realistic and keep things simple and disciplined as the most important focus. But 4 games with this "penalty absurdity" I start to wonder if our coach simply can't put himself into respect? This simply has to stop NOW.

Oh, Tkachev and Havanov were announcers on Russian TV. I guess I'll watch the replay. ^_^

I dunno, something is wrong with this team. on paper we should be better than a few teams here like most years, but we still often look like the worst of the bunch.

Karlsson has not been aboe to get this team up to standards in a few aspects. this pim show is embarrassing.

It is because most of our penalties are not even "physical".
We have 30*2 after four games, whereas the second worst is Belarus and USA with 24*2.
We are in a very clear lead in that department.

This lack of discipline is something a coach has to deal with and not apparently let slide for 4 matches in a row. It's a trend towards a reverse to "old school danish hockey" with players doing whatever they wanted.
