Yup. I noticed it years ago when he was on the Providence Bruins.

I didn't think anything of it until I saw the camera on him. Dwayne Roloson always switched over to shoot right-handed but never used a right-handed stick. Pretty clever from Dalton, I would say, I mean he's not losing anything by using a right-handed stick.

Probably more so gaining better passing than anything.

Canada 1 South Korea 0, after 1

Pretty remarkable feat by Korea considering where there program was at...which was not even existent not long ago. I am surprised by their competitiveness, even though they have some Canadians to make up some of the skill.

This Canadian team is content to play on the perimeter of the ice and that isn't going to produce many goals. Very disappointing performance so far.

Don’t they need to win big?

Why not go all out for it knowing the Koreans can’t hurt you even if they get chances?

Can 4 -Swift 0

I mean there was about 10 minutes when he was on the bench I think, but that was more to give other guys time to play then anything else.

Admittedly, South Korea is a lot better than I expected. They are keeping up pretty well.

6 Canadian players on KoreaKorea team. Kind of cutting corners if you ask me.

South Korea has had hockey for a while. We had an international tourney here in MN back when I was a kid and we invited a team from Korea. This was back around 1990. Jim Paek, Richard Park I think are two of the notables products in the country's history.

Ah. They were saying on the broadcast that there weren't even really any grassroots for a hockey program until they started funding 4M for this one in order to have a team for the Olympics - no idea if that is correct or not.

Yes they are cutting corners a bit by having some Canadians but I think the rest of the team fared pretty well.

Less than grassroots. They have 171 registered hockey players on the senior level.
