Good shift by Marner. In a good position to get the puck on the boards and nice pass in the neutral zone to create a scoring chance. Being objective here :)

Sanheim and Derm need more ice time. We need to keep hitting and generating momentum and energy that way. Marner and Strome need to wake up and participate in this game and be noticed. JV needs to keep intimidating and adjust to the soft international rules. No more penalties please. Our PK looks awful

Konecny is going to be a better NHLer than Virtanen and Marner. Book it.

It all depends on the translatability of his grinding game and if he can still be a Gallagher type player with the bigger bodies in the NHL. Also his concussion issues are concerning but I love his style and game

swedes response to canucks physicality is attempting to get as close to the crease after each whistle as possible. lol

Certainly doesn't match Downie on the production side, but in terms of undisciplined play and selfish penalties, he's done more harm than good for his team. Guy doesn't know when to draw the line, like punching an opponent in the back of the head when he's engaged with another player. Is that really necessary?

These type of players always struggle to adjust their game to International Rules. Can't really blame them. Tootoo , Downie, Kassian, Virtanen, Foligno all took bad penalties that would be borderline calls in NA
